looking for a picture of my Bob at Four Corner times I came across some sketches I did at that time for a possible painting of you. With your Birkbeck show you came nearer to Duchamp for me and escaped my abilities to portrait you ever as you are your portrait in your archiving.This is your ingenious act I felt and feel. And I love it.
I am puzzled about my composition i had in mind in the seventies. I think it was meant to be you at a bar. I also intended to paint you on a roller blind with you running along in a then typical way slightly bending forward. The outline is still in my archive. I am quite fond of these findings. But here and now I hope you accept the drawings as a New Years Greeting for 2015.
